MOVE-IN INSPECTION
Prior to your move-in you will meet with a staff member to inspect and record the condition of your unit on an inspection form, which you will both sign once in agreement. You will be given a copy of the form for your records. At the time of your move out the condition recorded on this form will be used to compare to current condition of your unit which will determine your eligibility for a security deposit refund.
TENANCY REVIEW
Our Tenant Relations Officer will meet you in your home four months after you move in, to perform a tenancy review and unit inspection. This is an opportunity to identify and address any concerns that may have arisen and to develop a plan for success going forward.
RENTER INSURANCE
AHS only insures our building, not your belongings. We recommend you purchase renter insurance to protect yourself and your belongings in the case of fire, theft, or other damage.
Please discuss this with TRO as we have an agreement with Marsh Insurance.
Marsh Insurance has partnered with BC Non-Profit Housing Association
to provide tenant’s insurance at an affordable cost.
